5 residents from Kokwa Island, who had never before farmed, attended a week's training at the Busia Agricultural College in Uganda with farmers from Molo to learn how to grow food

100 farmers whose seed stock was destroyed in the post-election violence received seeds for replanting

1 community garden and several individual home gardens in the Kirepari community are irrigated with water drawn from Lake Baringo by means of a "money maker" foot pump
