841 people of Tuinuane Village in Molo, displaced during the post-election violence in 2008, have been given access to water. Tuinuane Village is a new community, created by the residents on land they jointly purchased with government issued resettlement funds. A local artisan hired by FKSW and NECOFA constructed a hydraulic ram pump which was installed in the river 1 mile below the village and which pumps water to a holding tank in the community.

6 communities have access to clean water after their shallow wells were retrofitted to ensure safety and cleanliness. The wells were lined with brick and capped with cement to replace deteriorating boards which allowed dirt, livestock and children to fall into the wells. A "rope and washer pump" was installed in each well to bring water up to the surface.
